ABSTRACT
Withholding or withdrawing of persistence-treatment for the terminally ill treatment can be justified in some cases, since there are patients who believe that their life would be more good if the treatment is stoped. Their viewpoints of values must be esteemed.
Therefore a justifying condition of withholding or withdrawing of the treatment is that the terminal patients want it themselves. But whether it is another justifying condition or not that the persistence-treatment gives so much spiritual, economical burdens on others as the patient's family, depends on people's consensus.
