한국의료윤리학회지 편집위원회 규정

제1조 목적
이 규정은 『한국의료윤리학회지』의 편집 및 발행에 관한 제반 업무를 원활히 수행하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
제2조 편집위원회 구성과 임기
편집위원회는 1인의 위원장과 15인 내외의 위원으로 구성한다.
편집위원장은 회장이 임명하며 임기는 2년으로 하되 연임할 수 있다.
편집위원은 편집위원장의 추천으로 회장이 임명한다.
제3조 편집위원회 업무
편집위원회는 한국의료윤리학회 심사규정에 따라 논문 심사에서 발행까지의 업무 일체를 수행한다.
1. 투고논문 심사 진행
(1) 투고된 논문의 투고규정 부합 여부를 검토하고, 심사 진행을 결정
(2) 투고된 논문의 심사위원 선정
2. 게재논문 선정
(1) 심사결과에 따라 논문의 최종 게재여부 결정
(2) 각 호의 게재논문 수 조정
3. 학회지 편집 및 발간
(1) 게재 순서 결정
(2) 인쇄의뢰 및 최종 교정작업
(3) 게재 확정 논문의 편집상의 수정, 발간에 관한 사항
4. 이의제기에 대한 처리
(1) 심사 결과에 대한 재심 요청은 심사규정에 따라 진행
(2) 기타 이의제기에 대한 적합성 판단 및 결정
5. 연구부정행위에 대한 조치
(1) 연구 및 출판 윤리의 위반사항이 의심되는 경우 연구윤리규정에 비추어 평가 조치한다.
제4조 운영
(1) 위원회는 위원장이 필요하다고 판단하거나 편집위원 과반수의 요청이 있는 경우에 위원장이 소집한다.
(2) 위원회는 편집위원 과반수의 출석과 출석위원 과반수의 찬성으로 결정한다.
(3) 투고 논문 심사나 게재 여부 결정에 관한 세부 사항은 한국의료윤리학회지 심사규정에 따른다.
부칙
제1조 (규칙 제정) 본 편집위원회 규정은 2016년 12월 1일부터 시행한다.
제2조 (개정) 본 편집위원회 규정은 2018년 9월 30일부터 시행한다.
제3조 (개정) 본 편집위원회 규정은 2021년 5월 1일부터 시행한다.
제4조 (개정) 본 편집위원회 규정은 2024년 8월 30일부터 시행한다.
The Korean Journal of Medical Ethics Editorial Board Regulations

Article 1: Purpose
These regulations aim to clarify and specify all duties related to the editing and publication of the Korean Journal of Medical Ethics.
Article 2: Formation and Term of Office of Editorial Board
The Editorial Board is composed of one chairperson and approximately 15 members. The Editor-in-Chief is appointed by the president of the Korean Society of Medical Ethics for two years, with the possibility of reappointment. Board members are appointed by the president on the recommendation of the Editor-in-Chief.
Article 3: Responsibilities of the Editorial Board
Following the journal’s review regulations, the Editorial Board is responsible for all tasks related to reviewing and publishing manuscripts.
1. Review of submitted articles
(1) Ensure submitted articles comply with submission regulations and decide whether to proceed with the review.
(2) Select reviewers for submitted articles.
2. Selection of published articles
(1) Decide on the publication of articles based on review results.
(2) Determine the number of articles in each issue.
3. Editing and publishing the journal
(1) Determine the order of publication.
(2) Handle printing requests and final editing
(3) Make editorial corrections and publish accepted articles
4. Handling of Objections
(1) Address requests for reconsideration of review results following review regulations.
(2) Judge and decide on the appropriateness of other appeals.
5. Measures for Research Misconduct
(1) Evaluate suspected violations of research or publication ethics following the Research Ethics Regulations.
Article 4: Operation
(1) Meetings of the Editorial Board will be convened by the chairperson as necessary or at the request of a majority of its members.
(2) Decisions require the attendance of a majority of the members and the approval of a majority of those present.
(3) Detailed matters regarding the review and publication of submitted manuscripts will adhere to the Review Regulations of the Korean Society for Medical Ethics.

Article 1 (Enactment) These Editorial Board Rules took effect on December 1, 2016.
Article 2 (Amendment) These Editorial Board Rules took effect on September 30, 2018.
Article 3 (Amendment) These Editorial Board Rules took effect on May 1, 2021.
Article 4 (Amendment) These Editorial Board Rules took effect on August 30, 2024.
