요약

중환자실에서 치료를 받는 환자들은 의료에 절대적으로 의존해야 하는 취약한 상태에 처해 있다. 그들에게 의료윤리의 4원칙인 자율성 존중, 선행과 해악금지, 정의 원칙은 의료의 개입이 중요한 위기 시점에 있지 않는 환자들과 같을 수 없으며, 주로 더 복잡하고 첨예하게 얽혀서 갈등을 일으킨다.
